Dirty Little Secret

Revision of yesterdays post. I torn it down to the two back elements flipped it over and started again. More art therapy. The item in the lower part of the layout is my arm. I wanted to make a layout, showing the damage I had previously done to my skin through my compulsive actions. Looking at the photo was too painful so I covered it with splatters. I don't think it matters much because I know what's there and I put it on paper... and that was the objective... to put it on paper and out there for the world to see!

FEAR

um.. maybe I'll explain later....
and then again... maybe not!

Useless info

time to share some spam!

At three minutes and four seconds after 2 AM on the 6th of May this year, the time and date will be

02:03:04 05/06/07.

This won't happen again in our lifetimes. (Duh! but next year we will get 03:04:05 06/07/08... even I'm smart enough to figure that one out!)
Hopefully, neither will this kind of useless information. But it is interesting nonetheless, no? Oui?

I Dunno!

Just something I put together tonight... er... this morning... created entirely with brushes... not one photo was harmed in the process... threw them all together in a little slide show.... I do have a fav... but thouoght I'd share them all... 2:30 am... I probably really don't know what I'm doing.... LOL.. alas, life would be boring without my little antics eh?

WooHoo!

I'm so excited! Look what I bought today! I should have it in a couple of weeks! I can't wait! It will be here just in time for the rod trip I am taking with my mom! We are goiong to catch Route 66 in Bakersfield, follow it to missouri where we will visit my sister. On our way to missouri we will make a couple of stops in Texas to visit relatives. When we leave missouri we will head up to Nebraska, do some visiting, then take 80 home! We haven't set a time frame, but were thinking 2-3 weeks... anyway, I'll have my new laptop to upload the photos I take along the way.. I'm not making sense... I'm just giddy! WooHoo!

Is it REALLY Art?

This is just my lame attempt to get the song "Nothing at All" by Travis Pickle on my blog. "Rock You" is the only place I can find it. It's NOT on their album... so, enjoy! I love this song! This gals voice is haunting!

Our Past...

Recognizing what we have done in the past is a recognition of ourselves. By conducting a dialogue with our past, we are searching how to go forward.

Font Freak?

I certainly am.. can't get enough of 'em... that's why I gotta share this: The Dollar Sale at ScrapNfonts is coming to an end. Don't miss your chance to save up to $66% on most of their products! I think ALL their fonts are $1.00 right now!

I'll usually wait and wait before I pay $25.00 for a font and when I do it's because I just can't live without it anymore... Today, I bought 35 fonts... that brings me to a grand total of.. oh.. about a bazillion!

Forget the shoes.. I need fonts!

ACTION!

Some of you may know that when I get a creative block I often go out begging for other peoples photos. I don't know why, but I always find them so much easier to work with. Thanks to an old friend of mine, I didn't need to go begging this time. He has the coolest action photos of his family... I have never had an opportunity to work with such photos before and I think I'm addicted. Take a look at what I have done with his photos

Little Lucy

Just thought I would share a few of the photos I took at the Sanza/Souza wedding on March 17th. It's hard to believe the girls are all grown up and both married now! Lucy (Lucia) Sanza and Justina have been life long friends. You can see photos of them together at Justina's wedding and on Lucy's first day of Kindergarten on my photosite Look for Justina's wedding album

Little Things

Enjoy the little things,
for one day you may look back
and realize they were the big things!

Queen of Uniquity

It's been a while since I have been over to DAQ (Digital Art Quirks) so you cn imagine my surprise when I recieve notification that I had two new comments on a layout I posted back in October 2006. They're so much fun over there.. here's one of the comments:

Today, you are the queen of uniquity!

LOL thanks indy bev... what a great mood lifter! maybe even a motivator! I love ya guys! here's the layout.. made from a photo I took at the 2006 west coast VCOA national meet. you may have seen it, but look at it again and think "queen of uniquity!"

hey I think I'll even wave my DAQ blinkie!

Play List

Yes... ok... it really was time to give 'ol Alice Cooper a break. Radio JULZ has put together a new play list. This list goes out with a personal dedication to the luch hour DJ(S) "A kind soul is inspired by Angels!"
Enjoy! ~J

Memories

This, for an old friend... thanks for the inspiration I took these photos while taking a drive down memory lane in my home town not too long ago. I have many a wonderful memory around this bridge. Being there, the sounds of the birds above and the water rushing below, together with the sweet familiar smells almost made me forget the past 35 years... and I was 13 all over again!

Irish Blessing

May the Blessing of Light Be Upon You, Light on the outside,
Light on the inside. With God's Sunlight Shining on you, May Your Heart glow
with Warmth, Like a Turf Fire that Welcomes friends and strangers
alike.

May the Light of the Lord Shine from your eyes, Like a candle
in the Window, welcoming the weary Traveler.

May the Blessing of God's soft rain be on you, falling gently
on your head, Refreshing your Soul with the sweetness of little flowers newly
blooming.

May the strength of the winds of Heaven Bless you, carrying
the rain to wash your Spirit clean, Sparkling after in the
Sunlight.

May the Blessing of God's Earth be on you, and as you walk
the roads, may you always have a Kind word for those you meet.

May you understand the Strength and Power of God in
a Thunderstorm and in Winter, and the Quiet beauty of Creation, and the Calm
of a Summer Sunset.

And may you come to Realize that insignificant as you may
seem in this Great Universe, You are an Important part of God's Plan.
May He Watch over you, and keep you Safe from Harm.

More Fun

MIA.. yeah.. I'm not ready to talk about it! But I do have this to share with you....
